01About These Terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Arcaptor Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), the company that runs Contribution Score. Our registered office is at Devkinandan Sharma Mohalla, Tapukara, Khairthal Tijara, Rajasthan 301707.
They apply to everyone who uses the Contribution Score website, the institute dashboard, the public QR records and the institute lookup. By using any of these, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Contribution Score.
Registered institutes also sign the Contribution Score agreement. If anything in the agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies.
02Who Can Use Contribution Score
- Anyone can visit the website, scan a QR code, look up an institute and report a record.
- To register an institute, you must be at least 18, and authorised to act for an institution or provider that operates legally in India.
- You must give us true and complete details when you register, and keep them up to date.
03Registration and Approval
- Registering is free. After you register, our team explains how scoring works, along with the dos and don'ts.
- Your institute is approved only after you sign the Contribution Score agreement. We may ask for proof of your institute's registration before approving it.
- We may decline a registration if the details can't be checked, or if the institute has broken our rules before.
- Once approved, your institute gets its own Institute ID and a dashboard. No score can be worked out before this.
04Your Dashboard and Account
- Keep your sign-in details private. You’re responsible for everything done from your institute’s dashboard.
- Only give dashboard access to people at your institute who need it.
- Tell us straight away at Grievance@contributionscore.in if you think someone has used your account without permission.
05Adding Students and Results
- Add each student within 10 days of their admission. A student added late can't be used for a score, and we won't make exceptions.
- Enter the student's full name exactly as it appears in the result, a clear photo, the course they enrolled in with full details, and their enrollment, joining and course end dates.
- If a student upgrades to another course, update it in your dashboard when it happens.
- When a result is declared, add the result date and outcome. You can only record results for students already on your list.
- Get the student's consent before adding them, since their name and photo will appear on a public record. For a student under 18, get consent from a parent or legal guardian. Keep proof of consent and show it to us if we ask.
- Never add a student's phone number, email, home address or any other contact detail.
- Keep your own records, such as admission and fee receipts, that back up what you enter, so you can show them if a record is questioned.
06Using Your Badge and QR Code
- Each badge and QR code belongs to one student's result. Show it only next to that result, and never reuse it for another student, result or ad.
- Don't change the badge's design or grade, or make your own version of it.
- Don't use the badge to suggest that your institute is rated for quality, approved by the government, or able to promise selection or future results.
- Make sure the QR code on any poster or ad can be scanned and leads to the right record.
- If your institute is suspended or removed, stop using all badges straight away. Their QR records will show your current status.
- Your ads must still follow every law and guideline that applies to you, including the CCPA guidelines on coaching ads. A badge doesn't make an ad compliant on its own.
07What a Score Means
A Contribution Score is an honest marketing score, not a quality score. It shows that an institute really contributed to a result it advertises, and how much, using one published method. It doesn’t rate an institute or its teachers, and it isn’t a government certification.
We may improve the scoring method from time to time. Each version is published with its date, and we’ll tell registered institutes before a new version takes effect. Students and parents should still make their own choices about which institute suits them. We’re not responsible for decisions made using a score.
08Things You Must Not Do
- Enter false, backdated or misleading details, or add students who never studied with you.
- Pretend to be another institute or person, or use another institute's badge, ID or records.
- Copy, scrape or bulk-download records or lookup data, or use them to contact students.
- Pressure, threaten or punish a student or parent for reporting a record.
- Try to break into, overload or interfere with the website or dashboard.
- Use Contribution Score for anything unlawful.
09Reports, Reviews and Corrections
- Anyone can report a record from its QR page. Please report only in good faith and with honest details.
- Reports are reviewed by the independent panel. The institute always gets a chance to respond before a decision is made.
- Depending on what's found, a record may be corrected or removed, or the institute may be warned, suspended or removed.
- Genuine mistakes are corrected and aren't treated like false claims.
- Major corrections, suspensions and removals are listed in our monthly transparency report.
10Suspension and Leaving
- We may suspend or remove an institute that breaks these terms or the agreement, or while a serious report is reviewed. The institute lookup and QR records will show this status.
- You can leave at any time by writing to us. Your badges will stop showing as valid, and we’ll keep data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
11Fees
Registering, getting approved, using the dashboard and getting badges are free today. If we ever introduce a fee, we’ll tell registered institutes well in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
12Our Name, Badge and Method
The Contribution Score name, logo, badge designs, scoring method and website content belong to Arcaptor Technologies Private Limited. While your institute is approved, you may show badges issued to you, exactly as issued and as these terms allow. You may not use our name or logo in any other way without our written permission.
13Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, what is shown publicly and the rights you have. It’s part of these terms.
14Disclaimers and Limits of Liability
We work hard to keep Contribution Score accurate and available, but it’s provided as it is. Records are based on details entered by institutes, and we can’t guarantee that every record is free of errors or that the site will always be available.
As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by details an institute entered. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that can’t be limited under Indian law.
15Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, tell registered institutes about important changes before they take effect, and list them in our monthly transparency report. If you keep using Contribution Score after a change, you accept the updated terms.
16Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at Grievance@contributionscore.in and we’ll try to resolve it. If we can’t, the courts with jurisdiction over our registered office in Rajasthan will decide the matter.
